With the loss to Davison last Friday evening, the Lake Orion Varsity Lacrosse season has come to an end! We have begun the uniform collection and will continue to do so over the next week. If you have not turned in your uniform you are ineligible for the banquet that is scheduled for June 12th at Addison Oaks. If your parents or siblings are interested in attending the banquet, $20 per person is needed to be given to Lisa Bogus as soon as possible! She can be reached in the attendance office of Lake Orion High during the day so players could bring the money to her!
From the coaching staff, we were honored to have coached such fine young men. Their dedication to the sport was superb and their willingness to learn fantastic. Even with all the difficult weather we encountered during the season, the boys kept their attitudes up and performed on the field like champions. It is our vision to keep the program moving forward and expanding lacrosse throughout the community. Thank you to the parents for all the support and help during the season. Without your help, this program would not be where it is today!

Apologies for the delay to the website update! Account information had to be transfered over and now that all the ducks are in a row, we will be able to update the site on a regular basis.
As you all know, the boys have had tryouts the first half of this week and the team has been selected. The final roster will be posted on this site by weeks end. The coaches would like to congratulate all who made the team and every boy that tried out this year. It was very hard to decide on the final team for the 2011 season for the Varsity as well as the JV squad but we feel that the boys selected will be the best the school has to offer.
The boys are expected to be in the Kiva @ 4:30pm this afternoon for a quick meeting before taking to the practice field which will run until 7:30 PM. There is a mandatory parent meeting this evening, March 17, 8 pm in the Kiva located in the lower level of the high school. There is plenty of information to go over but we plan to have everything wrapped up by 9pm. To finish out the week, there will be practice tomorrow, March 18, followed on Saturday with scrimmages for the Varsity at home and for the JV at Rochester Adams High. We will have no buses for the JV scrimmage so car pooling is suggested and specifics on the scrimmage will be brought up tonight.
